With “M anvi wè,” Junior Music expresses his wish to see a better Haiti

Haitian singer Junior Music continues to use his music as a voice for social awareness through his song “M anvi wè.” Released on YouTube, the track reflects the artist’s deep desire to see a more stable, respected, and hopeful Haiti for the younger generation.

Originally from Gonaïves, Junior Music addresses several of the country’s ongoing struggles in this socially conscious record, including insecurity, political instability, unemployment, inflation, and the growing migration of young Haitians seeking better opportunities abroad. Through the song, the artist also expresses nostalgia for a time when Haiti carried a more positive image throughout the Caribbean and beyond.

In an interview with Juno7, the singer explained that he initially intended to create a romantic song before deciding to focus on social issues instead. According to him, the constant negative news surrounding Haiti inspired him to transform his emotions into music capable of raising awareness and encouraging reflection.

Through the lyrics of “M anvi wè,” Junior Music highlights the impact of the crisis on Haitian youth. He speaks about students abandoning their education to leave the country, families struggling with economic hardship, and the humiliation many Haitians face abroad. The artist believes these realities should encourage Haitians to unite and become more conscious of the country’s future.

The song was written by Junior Music himself and recorded in his personal studio. Mixing and mastering were handled by Maestro Fred G Boy Beats, while the music video was directed by Kendy Haïti.

Junior Music also revealed that “M anvi wè” is only the beginning of a larger musical journey. The singer confirmed that several additional projects, including new songs and music videos, are already in preparation.

Supported by a team that includes Maestro Fred G Boy Beats, Kendy Haïti, and Massénat James for marketing and distribution, Junior Music hopes to continue using his music to inspire and bring awareness to the realities faced by Haitian youth.
