The Haitian National Police (PNH) has announced the receipt, through its Anti-Narcotics Brigade (BLTS), of 1,376 kilograms of marijuana seized by the United States Coast Guard during a maritime interception near Môle Saint-Nicolas in northern Haiti.
The operation, carried out on April 30, resulted in the arrest of Jamaican national Aldane Anderson, also known as “Ali.” He was found in possession of 66 sacks containing the illegal substance. The official handover ceremony took place in the presence of Samuel Philippaux, Justice of the Peace of Cap-Haïtien, along with Haitian and American maritime authorities.
