Eyo-E, The Voice Behind TikTok’s Viral “Well Done” Verse

Few songs have captured the attention of Haitian TikTok users in recent months quite like “Well Done.” The track has spread across social media, inspiring thousands of videos and introducing many listeners to a voice they may not have known before: Eyo-E.

The Haitian artist recently spoke about his role in the song and how its unexpected success has affected his career.

According to Eyo-E, he was not the creator of the original track but was invited to contribute a verse that ultimately became one of the song’s most recognizable moments.

“I was actually featured on the song,” he explained. “DJ MJ came to my studio, played me the track, and asked me to jump on it. I recorded my verse, and that’s the part people connected with.”

Like many viral hits, the success of “Well Done” came as a surprise. Eyo-E admitted that he never expected the song to gain such momentum on Haitian TikTok and beyond.

The moment he realized something special was happening came when he began seeing videos from people across different countries and cultures using his verse. What started as a collaboration quickly turned into an international phenomenon, with users from Haiti, Jamaica, several African countries, and other parts of the world sharing content featuring the track. The sound has now been used more than 200,000 times on TikTok, further highlighting its massive reach on the platform.

While the exposure has helped introduce his music to a wider audience, Eyo-E noted that the situation has also created an unusual challenge.

“It’s helped more people discover my music,” he said. “At the same time, because of how the song was released, many people know the verse but don’t know I’m the artist behind it.”

Despite that, the artist remains grateful for the attention the song has generated. One of his favorite aspects of the experience has been watching people from different backgrounds enjoy and connect with his music.

The public response has also reinforced an important lesson for his future work. According to Eyo-E, the success of “Well Done” showed him the value of staying authentic and creating music that people can genuinely relate to.

The viral hit has already led to new opportunities and industry connections, opening doors for future collaborations and projects.

As for the fans who helped turn the song into a social media sensation, Eyo-E expressed his appreciation for their support.

“Thank you for all the love and support,” he said. “Every video, share, and stream means a lot to me.”

Looking ahead, the artist says he is focused on releasing new music and expanding his creative projects.

“I’m working on new music, new content, and bigger projects,” he said. “This is just the beginning.”
